Do you have a hard time to remember names and faces? If so, then here you’ll find a simple and unique but very effective method to remember names and faces for good.
If you’re like me, you’ve tried special memory techniques to improve your memory for names and faces… but very likely, these techniques were either too abstract or too difficult for you to apply them on a daily basis.
But the good news is…
You can easily
remember the names and faces
of anyone you meet
with this little tool:
In our case, we won’t use any abstract mnemonic methods. Instead, we’ll use the famous flashcard app called “Anki”. This 100% free application will help you to remember all the names you want to remember… and… you will never again forget these names ever again.
What’s the exact strategy?
First, please go to Anki’s homepage and install their software on your computer or your phone.
(Anki is 100% freeware and, of course, it’s free of ads, or anything else unwanted.)
When you’re done installing, simply go to “default” and add a new card. Enter into the “Front” field some information about the person you want to remember.
Describe here in keywords where you’ve met that person, how he (or she) looks like, characteristics, style, hobbies, etc. In other words, you want to add enough information to trigger your memory for the name.
Once you’ve added your flashcard, Anki will automatically quiz you at the perfect intervals using the spaced repetition method.
When you’re going through your cards, try thinking about the person’s appearance, recalling the very moment you’ve met. This will reinforce your memory and remind you of that person’s name.
Depending on how easy (or difficult) it felt for you to remember a particular name, you can determine when you’re going to be quizzed again.
From now on, every time you meet someone you’d like to remember, simply add his name and his details into Anki. The only thing you have to do now is to check your Anki lessons for the names to recall on a daily basis. This will take you 5 minutes or less but it will serve you a lifetime. Guaranteed. This can’t get any simpler.
P.S. Of course you can try to memorize names and faces with special memory techniques. This is not for everyone, because it requires some initial practice and discipline. But if you’re interested in expanding your memory abilities, then you’ll benefit greatly from this names and faces memory enhancing course.Share this Post
